Did you know that Army ROTC is the single largest source of college scholarship money in the United States? Qualified applicants may receive a scholarship that not only pays all college tuition and fees, but also provides a monthly stipend and textbook allowance. Make money this summer!
The Leader's Training Course is not a scholarship option so much as a means to obtain a two year scholarship. Prospective cadets entering their third year of college who have no prior military experience may attend this four week course at Fort Knox, Kentucky during the summer between their second and third years of college.
There, prospective cadets will learn basic military skills and receive leadership training. A small cash stipend is also available to individuals who attend this course. There is no obligation to join ROTC following the completion of the course, but those cadets whose performance is exceptional may be given a two year scholarship.
